This award puts the spotlight on individuals within a business that have demonstrated outstanding, “above and beyond” customer service to their customers. Nominees’ best demonstrate the customer service attributes: accessible, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive.

    Ian Spencer Award (Business) – Sponsored by CBDC – NOBL
    In recognition of Ian Spencer’s commitment to bridging the gap between business and the community, The Antigonish Chamber of Commerce annually recognizes a local business with this Award for Excellence in Business. Nominee businesses have demonstrated successful business practices and strong corporate responsibility and community service.

    XEDC Young Entrepreneur Award –
    The StFX Enterprise Development Centre (XEDC) presented for the 1st time the Young Entrepreneur Award.  The purpose of this award is to recognize young entrepreneurs for their hard work and success in operating their own businesses in the Town and County of Antigonish. Nominees must be between the ages of 16 – 29; have an active business located and/or operating in the Town or County of Antigonish; and been in business a minimum of two (2) years.
