The Chamber hosts several major events throughout the year as well as various breakfast/luncheons designed to bring valuable knowledge to our members and to provide excellent opportunities for networking and recognition.
The Antigonish Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting and President's Dinner is hosted annual each February as the Chamber swears in its new President and volunteer directors to represent its members interests on the Board. The meeting is a chance for us to celebrate our achievements, and report on them to our membership; followed by the President's Dinner which features a keynote speaker.
The Excellence in Business Gala is a night of celebration as we salute the Antigonish business community - their successes, innovation, contributions of community leadership, and commitment to excellence in their field of endeavor. Awards are presented for Excellence in Customer Service and Excellence in Business, Each year businesses and individuals are nominated for these prestigious awards - an independent panel of five judges accepts the immense challenge of adjudicating the submissions received
Through the year, the Chamber hosts business breakfasts and/or luncheons with interesting and relevant leaders from the world of business and politics. These breakfast/luncheons are an opportunity to network, as well as hear what these speakers have to say. You will gain insights, and have the opportunity to ask questions of these leaders. All are welcome, Chamber members receive discounts.
